Reaching Women invites you to be part of an exciting event taking place on Saturday, Sept. 27, 2008 at Winebrenner Seminary in Findlay, Ohio.   In celebration of 30 years of ministry, we are hosting a one-day women's conference featuring author, speaker & TV star, Lisa Whelchel.   Lisa is well-known for her portrayal as the snobby rich girl, Blair Warner, of the NBC sitcom, "The Facts of Life."

Ms. Whelchel was born in Littlefield, Texas.   At the age of 13, her first professional acting experience was as a Mouseketeer for "The New Mickey Mouse Club."   Then for nine years, she starred on "The Facts of Life" television show.

Now a popular author and speaker, Lisa's first book, "Creative Correction" published by Tyndale House and released in October 2000, has sold over 170,000 copies and received a Gold Medallion Nomination in the Family and Parenting Category.   She is also the author of several other books, one of which is entitled, "The Facts of Life and Other Lessons My Father Taught Me."   It is from this book, her life, and her professional acting career, that Lisa will share with the women at this conference, "The REAL Facts of Life."

Ms. Whelchel is married and homeschools her three children.   She feels her current role, as a wife and mother is her greatest, and most challenging, role yet.   With a goal to refresh and equip other mothers, Lisa Whelchel is the founder of MomTime Ministries, Mom Time Get-A-Ways and "Personal Mom Coaching."   Please feel free to also visit Lisa's website at lisawhelchel.com.
